This fun filled 4×4 island safari is among many people’s favourite things to do in Barbados. The tour starts with a casual guided walk through the Welchman Hall Gully, home of the green monkey; keep your eyes peeled because these monkeys are sure to entertain! Then on to Chalky Mount and giving you a chance to meet the local potters as they create their works of art, if you’ve never seen this before, it is a MUST see.
The Adventure then continues on to the coast line of the beautiful east coast, stopping by Cattlewash and Bathsheba’s famous surf break, “Soup Bowl”. The scenery on this side of the island is marvelous so bring your cameras, you’ll have some excellent photos to take back home from Bathsheba.
After Bathsheba, there is St. John’s Church with its rich history as it is one of the oldest Churches in Barbados. The Church offers spectacular views as it over looks the entire East Coast. Then on to the Great Sunbury Plantation house for a delicious buffet lunch and tasty beverages.
This tour includes round-trip transportation from your hotel, entrance fees to Welchman Hall Gully, an excellently prepared Buffet Lunch with dessert, Rum Punch, Tropical Punch and sodas. The drinks are served throughout the day, not just at the end!
Duration: Approximately 5 1/2 hrs – pick-ups 8:00am-9:00am and returns 2:30pm – 3:30pm.
