Things to Do

Located in the Parish of St. Phillip in Barbados, the Crane beach is truly something special. You simply can’t leave Barbados without a visit to this beautiful place. The sand is the whitest of whites and the ocean the bluest of blues. The beach is long and wide so you’ll often see locals and tourist playing beach soccer or cricket together and then jumping in the ocean to cool off afterwards.

There is also a decent wave to be surfed on the far side of the beach using the body boards that are available for hire. For those who like to relax, there are beach chairs with umbrellas that are managed by the locals and they will rent them to you for a very small fee, not too much to ask for a nice day in paradise, after all these guys are part of the character of this great beach and take care of it like it’s their own. Without a doubt, The Crane beach should be near the top of your beach list when you visit Barbados.
